Our journey toward building a company that increases quality innovative healthcare to the Pilbara began in March 2014.

Owner David and his partner moved to sunny little Wickham to be welcomed by the aftermath of cyclone Christine.

The community was, and is, one of strength and resilience; he knew he wanted to be part of something bigger to support it. This has fuelled the passion for helping Karratha and the greater Pilbara region.

In 2014, Pilbara Therapy was a business with one owner/director/physio operating out of a small two-bedroom unit in Wickham. In just seven years, they are proud to have a fabulous passionate and talented team of 10 Physiotherapists, 5 Occupational Therapists, 2 Speech Pathologists, Allied Health Assistants and an amazing admin/accounting support team.

Since July 2017, Pilbara Therapy has also been providing outreach clinics to the surrounding communities in support of chronic disease management and reduction across the Pilbara, including Onslow, Newman and Western Desert, as well as Tom Price and Paraburdoo.

In 2021 the team began travelling regularly to Port Hedland as the desperate need for care was identified, this regular service continues.

As a small local business, Pilbara Therapy truly believes therapy is about the entire experience. Our therapists ensure all clients receive the best care and service they deserve by looking holistically at your concerns and circumstances.
